A chimney company, not a general handyman service
Chimneys are the only thing we do. That matters more than it sounds, because a chimney is one of the few parts of a house where a bad repair is a fire and carbon monoxide risk rather than a cosmetic problem. Sweeping, inspection, masonry repair, relining, cap and chase top fabrication, fireplace repair, creosote removal, animal removal and dryer vent cleaning are all handled by our own technicians rather than subcontracted out.
We have been working North Texas chimneys since 2013, which is long enough to know how the local housing stock behaves. The suburbs north of Dallas were largely built in two waves, one through the 1970s to 1990s and another from 2000 onward, and those two waves fail in completely different ways. A fifty year old masonry stack in Richardson has cracked crowns and eroded mortar. A twenty year old prefab chase in Frisco has a rusted galvanised cover. Knowing which you are looking at before quoting is most of the job.

Every job starts with an inspection at no charge. We get on the roof, photograph what we find, and show you the pictures before anything is quoted.

You get the problem, the fix, and the price in plain terms. If something can wait a season, we say so rather than bundling it in.
The work, done by our own crew
No subcontractors. Materials are matched to the chimney, which for older masonry means mortar matched for colour and hardness, and for prefab units means manufacturer parts rather than generic ones.
Photos when we leave
You get before and after images of the finished work, and the site left clean. Drop cloths go down every time.

How long have you been in business?
Advanced Local Cleaning has been working chimneys across Dallas, Fort Worth and the DFW metroplex since 2013. In that time we have completed more than 1,242 chimney sweeps alongside repair, relining and masonry work.
Do you have a shop I can visit?
No. We are a service-area business based in Plano rather than a storefront, so all work happens at your property. That keeps overheads down and it is why we can cover a wide area without charging travel inside the metroplex.
Is the inspection really free?
Yes. Every job starts with an inspection at no charge, and you see photographs of what we find before any quote. If the chimney turns out to be fine, we tell you that and there is nothing to pay.
Do you use subcontractors?
No. The technicians who turn up are our own. Chimney work has real safety consequences when it is done badly, and we would rather control the quality directly than pass the job on.
